there is this line in a song that makes me think about
you.
and when it plays I
stop.
and sing as loud as I can.
because in school they told me sound waves carry
great distances.
But I guess if you could hear me, you would sing it too.
and come back to
me.
Or maybe when you hear it you think
“this is just a line in a song.”
And so you keep walking (away).
